Hey, I'm Nate!

You might know me as JRMATRIX if you've been around my Twitch channel before, but I'm also the founder of Direwolf Design.

I've been creating content on Mixer & Twitch since 2016, and over that time I've been working as a Software Developer & Graphic Designer within the Digital Media industry.

Direwolf Design started as a freelance development agency back in 2016, offering web design & development services to B2B clients. Basically, I built the stuff that regular agencies and developers couldn't.

Unfortunately (due to Covid), my work in that industry came to an abrupt standstill early in 2020, causing me to have to rethink my entire business model.

Having a background in streaming, and having some great friends & contacts within that industry, I decided to branch out and start offering Graphic Design services to Streamers & Content creators.

I started out like most Graphic Designer do, doing some smaller projects with people I knew to start building up a bit of a portfolio. Honestly it was like going back to my early days of freelancing again!

As the new year (and yet another UK lockdown) rolled around, I made a push to start getting some predesigned content up on a webstore that could be sold quickly without needing too much intervention from me, moving Direwolf from a purely commission based model to a mix of direct sales and commissions.

I've also applied some of the knowledge I've acquired in the years I've been streaming with how best to set up a fair and mutually beneficial Affiliate program, which was one of the first programs we rolled out this year alongside our website.

We're now working on building up a solid product base, we have commissions coming in month on month and we're building up a great team of Affiliates.

I understand how difficult the past year has been for everyone, especially those of us in small business, but I'm determined to push forward with Direwolf Design and adapt to the changing landscape of the digital media industry.
