This Month at Direwolf Design

This month we're celebrating Women's History, launching our new Apparel Store, rolling out Affiliate Program updates and working on getting our new Stream Packs launched!

A month into the launch of our new website, we're looking to tighten things up and get some regular features in place to help improve the content we're putting out.

We know it's been a while since we last posted any updates, but we've been hard at work getting things ready for the first major update to our website and services. We've still got a few things to finish off before we're ready to roll out the latest update but rest assured there's plenty of great stuff to look forward to!

Here's what we've got planned over the next month.

Women's History Month

For those of you who don't know, March marks Women's History Month, and to celebrate we've got a bunch of new stuff lined up for release throughout the month that promotes women in streaming, gaming and content creation.

We've already launched our first Women's History Month Apparel in our new Spreadshirt store (more on that below) and we have new designs dropping every week this month that are all themed towards women in gaming and sreaming.

We also want to release our first Creator Spotlight this month, and we're looking for female content creators to get in touch with us to discuss being featured! You don't need a large following on any platform, we just want people open to discussing the highs and lows of being a female in content creation!

Apparel Store

You might have seen over the past couple of weeks that we've partnered up with SpreadShirt to launch our new Apparel Store. Well we've got some big updates planned over the next couple of weeks that will make it easier for you to find and buy our official Direwolf Apparel!

We're using SpreadShirt's awesome API to build the official Direwolf Design Apparel Store right here on our website. Expect to see some store updates over the next couple of weeks as we shift some things around to get everything sitting right on the website.

Apparel Designs

The new Apparel Store will feature a range of designs from branded merch to gaming and streaming apparel. We're also launching our new Merch Design service for Content Creators later this month for those of you who want some awesome custom designs for your own merch stores!

This month's apparel designs will all be centred around Women in Gaming and Content Creation to celebrate Women's History Month!

Affiliate Updates

We posted back in February about our upcoming Affiliate Program changes. We're looking to release these updates alongside the launch of the Apparel store within the next couple of weeks (once we've worked out all the bugs!).

We've already launched the beta of our new Creator Codes and Custom Creator Links and a number of our affiliates are now trialling these new systems.

Apparel Store Commissions

Unfortunately we currently have no way of tracking commission sales through SpreadShirt, but we're working on it!

We're hoping to offer the same commission rates for sales through our Apparel Store as we do through our Graphics Store, we're just working on a system that will allow us to accurately track sales through SpreadShirt based on an Affiliate link being used. We'll post more information on this feature as we have it.

Affiliate Creator Pages

We've got the basis of a system in place that will allow you to choose to support an affiliated creator directly through our website before you go on to make any purchases, so even if you haven't followed an affiliate link to get here you can still pick one of our Creator Affiliates to support with your purchase!

Graphics Store Releases

We had planned on having our updated WARZONE Stream Pack launched by now, however we ran into a couple of issues with the new format we're looking at using to release Alerts and Widgets.

We're in the process of getting verified on a number of different platforms and we're in direct contact with one of the new alert providers for Glimesh to help them get a system in place that we can use to make it even easier for you to download and install our packs.

We know a number of you have contacted us enquiring about the release date for the updated pack, unfortunately we don't have a solid date for this as of yet. As soon as we hear back from the platforms we've contacted we'll be sure to update you on what's happening!

Under The Hood

We're making some pretty major changes to how our website runs in the background, which will hopefully optimise a few things and keep data usage for our mobile visitors as low as possible. Expect to see some faster page loads in the near future as well as some updated visuals and mobile usability!
